The Pie Gallery!

Making and sharing pies is one of my favorite hobbies, and I would be remiss not to include it on this website! I make a pie almost every week, taking flavor requests from whoever I’m baking for and sometimes inventing new recipes myself. I bring these pies to gatherings, classes, and rehearsals, or just give them to whoever in my life seems like they could use something sweet. I love pie because it’s versatile and shareable – there are so many different kinds out there, everyone is bound to find a pie they can gather together and enjoy! Take a look at some of the pies I’ve made in the gallery below.

My Playwriting Debut: Rivka’s Reading Rainbow!

This Winter, a play that I wrote was produced for the very first time! Rivka’s Reading Rainbow! is the story of a young librarian trying to save her library’s Miscellaneous Books Department from dissolution. It explores the tenuous connections between purpose and meaning, and questions the way we assign value (or don’t) to the things that populate our lives.

This production was a Studiolab project supported by the Dartmouth College Department of Theater, fearlessly led and directed by Alex Bramsen. It starred Amara Jones-Myers and August Guszkowski, who wore costumes designed by Lila Hovey and played on a stage lit by Evan Schafer and brilliantly managed by Alex Gavitt and Caileigh Dowell. Every person who worked on this play brought something brilliant and new to the script; I am so proud of them, and proud to have contributed a piece to this magical whole.

If you’d like to watch a video of this performance or read the script, please contact me directly! I would be so happy to share this work with you!

Recently Onstage: Jo & Laurie

In Summer 2021, I was extremely fortunate to have been in the world premiere of James Holod Kennedy’s play Jo & Laurie. This production was entirely student-produced by a small company of 7 with a generous grant from the Robert Dance ’77 Arts Initiative. Everyone in the company truly loved the script, and their passion combined with the trust we all had in each other made for an explosion of love and unrestricted creativity. The lessons I learned from working directly with James, applying for grants and coordinating production schedules, and taking on my first two-hander as a performer made this one of the most educational theatre experiences I’ve ever had, and the people I created it with made it the most joyful. We recorded and livestreamed the production, so you can even watch our opening show in full!
